808 No Vape Family & Community Night

Aloha LCPCS ʻOhana,

We would like to invite our families and community members to an informational evening focused on vape and fentanyl awareness and prevention.

This event will feature presentations from community partners and guest speakers who will share important information, prevention strategies, and real world perspectives to help support the health and safety of our students and community.

Featured speakers include Kapono Kekela, Hawaiʻi Island Fentanyl Task Force Coordinator; Kai Carvalho, Public Relations Director and Tobacco Treatment Specialist; and Dr. Aaron Kvenild of Hāmākua-Kohala Health, an LCPCS alum who will share his story of becoming a doctor and returning to serve his community.

Families are encouraged to attend in person. For those who cannot make it to campus in person, a Google Meet option is available by scanning the QR code on the event flyer.
